Breeding record: :  Feiner Stern is best known for producing progeny with very good foundations, beautiful heads, good looking and very easy to ride and handle.  His first foal crop in Oldenburg produced 4 approved sons, among them 1st and 2nd Vice Champions Feinbrand, and Fair Play . Feinbrand and Fitz Roy successfully represented Oldenburg at the 1990 German Riding Horse Championships in Verden. Feinbrand was the Oldenburg champion 5-year-old dressage horse in Rastede. The typy mare Kiruna caused a stir in 1991 by winning a I-e state premium. In 1994 St. Pr. Tantieme 1-d won the "Futures Prize of Oldenburg Mares" and Esperanza, winner of the  1-e State Premium was sold at the elite Vechta sale for 90,000 DM. Feiner Stern was also successful from the beginning with auction progeny. Fitz Roy and Feiner Herr were knocked down for DM 40,000 and DM 73,000.  Flamenco and Fashionable changed stables for DM 130,000 and DM 150,000  The approved stallion Fair Play was sold to Bavaria at the Vechta spring auction and in the spring of 1996,  Feeling Fellow,  obtained a further peak price of DM 200,000.  Feiner Dame was the top-priced-lot of the broodmare sales in Verden in 1992 at DM 35,000.  Fantastic Champ was sold through the Vechta foal sales for DM 29,000,  In 1996 Auction horse Falcao was Federal Champion at 4, and has continued on to carry his young rider Victoria Max Theurer to Grand Prix victories in 2003. The FN breeding value lists Feiner Stern with a strongly secured breeding value for dressage, which counts him among the top sires Germany-wide.
