Current news from 2009:

Himmelgarten in Röthen was very successful for Brookhouse Stud. Excellent performances on all 3 days by Diamond Hit: the highlight was winning the Grand Prix de Dressage and the resulting finals of the Grand Tour with (73.972%).

Diamond Hit’s highly noble, strongly performing filly originating from Ocarella v. Ocamonte xx-Cavalier of the breeder Bernd Eisenmenger from Bubenheim won the Brookhouse Foal Championships. In the top group of 42 foals , Diamond Hit provided three fillies (1st, 2nd, 5th) and two colts (4th, 5th).

At Paul Schockemöhle’s A.O.S. Auction (Ankum Open Sales) Diamond Hit provided the price highlight of this year: the two year old stallion prospect Dark Hit v. Diamond Hit-Sandro Hit was sold to Sissy Max-Theurer in our neighbouring country of Austria for 380,000 Euros

No other stallion from Brookouse Stud has established a presence as a sire in the way Diamond Hit has. He has fathered 18 licensed sons (Donavan, Diamond Star, Diamonit I and II, the southern German license winner and riding horse champion Birkhof’s Don Diamond, among others) and almost 100 registered daughters. Outstanding foals and young horses can be found in almost every German riding horse breed.

Only twelve years old, Diamond Hit achieved a winning amount of 24,288 Euros, his descendants have till 2008 won 52,236 Euros. His list of descendants includes proud winners, peaks in auction prices and champion horses of the highest quality everywhere.

Of all stallions of the FN breeding evaluation, Diamond Hit is no. 11 in Germany with a dressage index of 166 (integrated dressage breeding value, Breeding Yearbook 2008).

His origin already predestines Diamond Hit as a top sire: his father Don Schufro v. Donnerhall now ranks third in the breeding evaluation (index 176), after having led for many years. The current number one, Sir Donnerhall v. Sandro Hit-Donnerhall, with index 182, is closely related to Diamond Hit. Not only through the stallion of the century Donnerhall, but above all through his mother Loretta which he shares with Sandro Hit. Diamond Hit mother, the outstanding Oldenburg mare also gave birth to Sandro Hit who is successful in all areas of breeding, as well as to Royal Dance’s son Royal Hit.

Although he already celebrated great success up to Grand Prix , from an athletic and breeding point of view, Diamond Hit, only twelve years old, is just starting his excellent career. For a start, he achieved the qualification for the Olympic Games and 10 Grand Prix placings.
