Dressage stallions 4 year olds
The group of four-year-old stallions was of unusually high standard this year. Among the dressage stallions the battle for the champion title took place between the two phenomenal movers Fürstenball and L’Espoir, who both made it a hard for the judges to pick a winner. Eventually, L’Espoir was proclaimed champion stallion. This wonderful and very rideable young stallion by Lord Loxley/Warkant received the score 10 for hindquarters, walk and canter. L’Espoir is owned by Priess Horses A/S.

L'Espoir repeated his triumph out of 2009 and win's the stallion licensing in Herningen, Denmark
L'Espoir is an impressive mover and a bundle of elasticity who has satisfied all the high hopes that were pinned on him. Sired by Bundeschampion and many times advanced dressage class winner, Lord Loxley, he put in a superior performance at the Denmark licensing which earned him top scores of between 9.0 and 10.0. L'Espoir was reserve champion in the dressage index at the Mecklenburg licensing, where the judges summed up his excellent performance as follows: "When he trotted through the indoor arena, every part of this stallion was in motion. He has an energetic leg action with fluent movement through the back." Sire, Lord Loxley, was Bundeschampion and Vice World Champion, winner of many advanced level dressage classes and the Nuremberg Burgpokal qualifier. He has already produced more than 15 approved stallions, premium stallions, champion mare and Bundeschampion FS La Noir and Bundeschampion Laetare. Lord Loxley is considered to be one of the best dressage sires in Germany and he consistently produces outstanding offspring. Maternal grandsire, Warkant, has sired numerous Grand Prix horses, including Bundeschampion Wahajama Unicef, Olympic gold medal winner Wansuela Suerte and many others, proving his qualities as a breeding stallion. Trakehner Gelria in the third generation contributes noble blood to the pedigree. We're looking forward to this stallion's first crop of foals.
L'Espoir is all set to make his mark!
